Leaderboard Formats
Capitol Annex offers two different leaderboard ad formats. These ads appear every page of Capitol Annex directly under the masthead (we display a large Google Ads leaderboard when this format is not reserved by another advertiser).
We offer two sizes, 728 pixels by 88 pixels and 860 pixels by 94 pixels. Prices for these ads are as follows (add $20 for single-day ads appearing on a primary or primary runoff election day or general election day):
728 x 88 (add $10.00 to all prices for 860 x 94 ad)
Single Day (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday): $25.00
Single Day (Friday): $15.00
Single Day (Saturday or Sunday): $10.00
Full Week (Sunday at midnight through Saturday at midnight): $40.00 ($55 in election years).
Full Month: $100 ($150 in election years).
Between Post Formats
Capitol Annex offers several different forms and locations for ads that appear between every post on a page throughout the website. Sizes are: 443 px x 66 px; 443 px x 271 px; and 443 px x 527 px. There are three separate sections where unique ads appear between posts: the front page of the blog and all subsequent pages accessed using the “Previous Entries” button on the front page; between posts when a reader uses the “Search” function to find posts; and between posts on the “Archives” pages when users access the archives using Capitol Annex’s “Archives Index.” Each of the three areas (Front Page, Search Pages, and Archives Pages), are priced separately:
